Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>This study was originally proposed as part of the “Environmental Monitoring of the Gulf of Paria Project” conducted by the Institute of Marine Affairs. Component 1 of that project was proposed as “Assessment of Water, Sediment and Biota Quality in the Gulf of Paria”, however the biota study was not carried out with the rest of the component. The study, “Assessment of Biota Quality in the Gulf of Paria” addresses biota quality in terms of heavy metals and hydrocarbons. This file presents the heavy metals aspect of the study, examining Oysters, Green Mussels and Mok, harvested in sediment and water, as well as testing of tissue.</SPAN></SPAN></P><DIV><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV>
