snippet: The CLME + sub-project seeks to develop and test various governance arrangements to enable effective ecosystem based management (EBM) of mangroves and wetlands. It will do this in the context of multilevel (local to regional) governance arrangements that will be developed via a series of interactive, focused, multi-stakeholder consultations, and the implementation of community-based conservation interventions. For Trinidad and Tobago, the focus would be on organic pollution from agriculture and wastewater in the southern section of the Caroni Swamp.
